The courtyard, the shutter and the latticework are like the building's skin, acting as filters that connect architecture with the external world and make it habitable
The patio as a filter, protection and privacy resolved with a justaposition of opportunities for different climatic moments and diverse uses of outdoor space.
The skin act just emphasizing the significance of filters in architecture for achieving a harmonious coexistence between the interior and exterior spaces.
The place, wheather and tradition
Marés stone, wood and lime, a mix of Mediterranean essence that encompasses the most traditional methods linked to the summer house where the inertia and the shade/ventilation are essential to live in extreme climate days.

Sa Rapita is a new residential area that has grown since the 1980s from a settlement of fishermen's houses to an ancient urbanization of summer houses.
