Felanitx House
Felanitx
2014 – 2016
Halfway between Campos and Felanitx we turn off onto the road with curves, dense vegetation and almost flat topography with small slopes from where you can see the mountains of Cura, Randa, up to Puig de Sant Salvador.
The young couple of owners always had it very clear that the reform they would do to the house of their dreams had to follow the criteria of typical Majorcan architecture. Respect the existing traditional elements that we found as much as possible, as elements that had been added were eliminated..
Mediterranean architecture
The house used to construct from the characteristic features and the Mediterranean house. Bearing walls, small openings, porch to south facade coating of lime, stone walls and pitched roofs with tile Mother and Arabic.
Natural materials and Mediterranean aesthetics with a fresh style of white calcareous walls, jointless stone and Felanitx clay pots for a functional and welcoming country house.
The kitchen, is a large in-situ concrete island with old oak doors. In the carpentry, white lacquered iron is combined in the large paneled windows on the ground floor, with ash wood in all the others
